Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse with Lavender

This mousse supports relaxation and mood through healthy fats from avocado, mood-enhancing antioxidants in dark chocolate, with calming effects of the lavender which helps reduce anxiety and promote restful sleep and nervous system support.


Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup dark chocolate (70% + cocoa)

2-3 tbsp milk (option to use dairy-free)

1-2 tsp maple syrup or honey

1/2 tsp lavender buds (culinary grade)

(Welcome to leave out lavender if you struggle to get it.)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt


Instructions:

Warm Milk & lavender over low heat; do not boil—strain lavender.

Melt chocolate on the stovetop over low heat or in a double boiler.

In a small blender or NutriBullet, combine melted chocolate, lavender milk, vanilla extract, maple or honey, and salt until it forms a creamy blend.

Spoon into small round dishes or a simple glass & chill in the fridge for one hour.

Garnish with your choice of grated dark chocolate, cacao nibs or sprinkle with lavender or your favourite nuts or fresh mint and berries whatever your heart desires xx
